Role Playing

Role playing!  One of my favorite past-times.  I've created many a character for this particular hobby of mine, based on movies I've seen, games I've played, or simply out of my own imagination.  I've played elves, vampires, humans, fairies, hitmen.. the list goes on.  Male, female, it doesn't matter to me.  I live for the game.. for the telling of a story. 

If you wish to RP with me, however, I have many rules.  These came into being not because I wanted to be a bitch, or an elitist (once upon a time, that word wasn't seen so negatively, and I still claim to be one, in its original intent).  Its because I've RPed for a LONG time, and my patience for the 'new' players is slim.  If they show promise and show they're willing to push themselves... to make themselves better, then I'm fine with RPing with a new player.  But for the sake of my sanity?  Please refrain if you cannot provide the following:

Length:  2+ AOL IM boxes (1+ AIM IM boxes)
Description:  LOTS, thanks.
Style: Novel, book, call it what you will. Actions are narrated, and spoken words are put in " " marks.
Age:  I am 21+.  As such, by law, you need to be 16+.  Please, if you're not, I don't want to know how young you are. I request that if you're going to RP adult-themed material, your characters be 18+, unless there's a good reason why they're not... and if there IS a good reason, I want to hear it and approve it before RPing.
IRL:  I'm fine with being friends... any more than that and I get wary.  I've been through a lot, and I'm learning slowly to guard my heart..
