Ren Faires!

Ahhh, Ren-faires.  Renaissance Faires.  Where those that go to them eat, drink and are incredibly merry.... most of the time, at least.  Faires I attend are as follows:

 Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire
 Jeff's Wicked Winter Ren Faire
West Windsor (Wet Windsor) Ren Faire

Most of my clothing for these faires was made by either Scarlet of www.scarletstitches.com or Sue of www.dressyourdreams.com if you want to take a look at what they have. 

I hope to eventually get to go to some of the HUGE faires in Texas, as well as one or two in California that I've heard are huge (apparently, according to rumor, ren-faires started in California).  There's also one in Ohio that's supposed to be pretty big, too - and I'd love to check them out. 

I am NOT SCA.  I applaud those who are, but for me, with the time constraints that I have, there is just no way I'd be able to follow all of the rules and regulations that they impose upon their players.  I do try to keep to 'period' style clothing, but its rather difficult when you don't have a lot of time to work on your costumes, getting them 'just right'.  But I try.  ^_^

Anyway - have a look at the faires, and my two favorite shops!  Considering that I work there at the PA faire, too?  ^_^ Help an Archer earn her keep!
